Hot chocolate Bike Bus!
Come one, come all - our first Hot Chocolate Bike Bus of the season! Join the Bike Bus this Friday, and as the kids arrive at school, they will enjoy a warm treat.
Our two routes roll from Kits House and Tatlow Park at 8:40am every Friday.
Visit gordonpac.ca/bikebus for more details, and join our WhatsApp group for the latest updates. Email gordonbikebus@gmail.com to be added.
Coffee Connection
All parents and caregivers are welcome! Right after drop-off, stick around for a quick coffee and a chance to catch up. Find us near the school entrance and start your Friday off right! Please bring your own reusable mug if you can.
Gear Swap
Time to dig through those closets and rescue the winter gear your kid has mysteriously outgrown since June — and maybe snag some properly fitting gear while you’re at it!
Friday, October 16th - 2:45–3:45pm
We are still accepting:
Rain boots
Winter boots
Jackets
Gloves
Toques
Snow pants
Scarves
Rain pants
Please no regular clothing or adult items.
Everything will be $5 per item.
Have gear to donate? We’re collecting items now! Please drop donations in the Gear Swap bin by the office.

Whitecaps FC × Gordon PAC
Love supporting the Whitecaps and the Gordon PAC? You can do both!
We’ve teamed up with the Whitecaps to bring Gordon families special ticket pricing, with a portion of each ticket sale going back to our PAC. Win-win! And hopefully, with all that Gordon cheering, the Whitecaps win too.
Our special link gets you exclusive pricing for Wednesday, October 28th, against San Diego FC.
Yes, it’s a Wednesday. Yes, it’s technically at bedtime. But hey — a school-night soccer adventure and a great matchup? Worth the extra coffee on Thursday morning, perhaps?
It’s also a pretty great deal. We compared the regular Ticketmaster prices, and the Gordon discount is definitely worth a look!

Have Your Say: DPAC Survey
We’d love to hear from our Gordon families! Please take a few minutes to complete the DPAC Parent & Caregiver Survey. What’s the DPAC? It’s the Vancouver District Parent Advisory Council. Think of it as like a super PAC, but for all of Vancouver instead of just Gordon.
Your feedback helps the DPAC Executive understand which education issues are most important to parents and caregivers across Vancouver. The responses will help inform DPAC’s advocacy and focus on the issues that matter most to families.
The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete, and we’d really appreciate your response by October 31, 2026.

Get Creative for Gordon! Screen Printing Workshop
Get ready for a fun and creative fundraiser! Join Aisling from Maevann Art on November 10th for a hands-on screen printing workshop, where you’ll design and print your very own tote bag! Make one for yourself or create a unique handmade gift (or two!) just in time for the holidays.
This is an adults-only workshop, so come enjoy a little creative time with fellow Gordon parents and caregivers!
Tickets are a minimum donation of $45, with all profits going directly to our school!
Spaces are limited, so be sure to grab your spot early. Come get creative, learn something new, and support our Gordon community!
